Next Generation Pastor Opportunity First Baptist Church of Bethalto, Illinois Do you have a passion for reaching and discipling the next generation? Do you want to be part of a rapidly growing church that is making disciples in our city and around the world? Since December 2020, God has been moving in incredible ways at

First Baptist Bethalto:

425+ people have trusted Christ as Savior.
192 people have followed the Lord in believer's baptism.
190 people have joined our church family.
113 members have personally led someone to saving faith in Jesus Christ.

As God continues to grow our church, we are seeking a Next Generation Pastor to provide vision, leadership, and discipleship for our children's and student ministries. This leader will help us build upon the strong relationships we have with coaches, teachers, school administrators, parents, and our community as we continue to make disciples here at First and there. We are looking for a man of God who is:

A shepherd who loves both the church family and those who are far from Christ

BFM 2000

The ideal candidate will provide spiritual leadership for our Next Generation Ministry through biblical teaching, intentional discipleship, volunteer recruitment and development, team building, strategic planning, and leadership training. Compensation & Benefits First Baptist Bethalto offers a competitive compensation package that includes:

$70,000 annual salary
Health insurance for the pastor and his family
Health Savings Account (HSA)
Travel reimbursement
