TITLE :

Family Outreach Director Purpose of the Position ; Work with staff for the growth of youth and families in faith, community, and service. Reports to the

Pastor Term :

Average 15 hours per week, Sundays Required.

Salaried:

$16,000-$18,000 annually. No Benefits. Position will be evaluated after 90 days.

Responsibilities:

Community Outreach Build relationships with local schools, community organizations and partners. Represent Living Waters within the community and encourage participation in church life. Develop strategies to integrate new families into the congregation. Leadership Collaborate with church staff and ministry leaders to recruit, train, encourage, and support volunteers. Assist with other ministry projects as assigned. Lead outreach initiatives that invite new families into the congregation and encourage their continued involvement in the ministries of Living Waters. Faith Formation Support and coordinate creative faith formation experiences for children, youth, and families. Communications Contribute to engaging content creation on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms.

Qualifications:

Required Active Christian committed to personal spiritual growth Passion for children, youth, and family ministry Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable using social media and basic office technology Preferred Experience in children's, youth, or family ministry Experience recruiting and leading volunteers Experience planning community events Experience with the ELCA or Lutheran tradition (or willingness to learn)
