Community|Teaching Pastor The Community|Teaching Pastor provides spiritual, pastoral, and directional leadership for the location by championing the mission, vision, and values of Community Christian Church. Responsibilities include preaching and teaching on weekends, leading and developing staff and volunteer leaders, shepherding the congregation through discipleship and pastoral care, and fostering a culture of spiritual growth and outreach. The Community/Teaching Pastor works collaboratively with central ministry teams to ensure alignment across all locations while contextualizing ministry to effectively reach and serve the Yorkville community. This role oversees key ministry initiatives, develops and empowers leaders, champions our vision of Every Person a Pastor, and helps create environments where people can find their way back to God and take their next steps in following Jesus.
