• Job Summary and Qualifications
• Under supervision of Lead Pastoral Care/Staff Chaplain, the Chaplain-PRN is responsible for working primarily in an On-Call capacity as a representative of the Department of Pastoral Care, to provide Spiritual Care and support to patients and families especially in times of crisis, grief and loss.

This position requires a strong sense of pastoral identity and an ability to minister ecumenically in an interdisciplinary setting, providing pastoral care in terms of the spirituality of the receiver.

• What qualifications you will need:
• + Bachelors Degree, or Masters Degree from an accredited college + Master's of Divinity or equivalent preferred + At least 2 units of certified Clinical Pastoral Education, CPE (CPSP, CPEI or ACPE) or equivalent in the field of mental health, psychology and counseling, etc.

preferred + Previous experience working as a pastoral caregiver in a healthcare setting or equivalent clinical experience + Previous experience in an acute care environment, hospital/healthcare facility + Ordination/endorsement from denomination or faith community for professional ministry
