- U.S. Church Ministries Lexington, KY Job Details Part-time 1 day ago Qualifications Mid-level Communication skills Full Job Description Kids Ministry Leader Job Description The part-time Kids Ministry Leader is responsible for starting, leading, overseeing and organizing all aspects of the Kids Ministry (newborn
- 8th grade) while cultivating an environment where kids grow in their knowledge and faith in Jesus.

- plan curriculum, coordinate lessons and activities Volunteer Leadership
- recruit, train, lead, manage and effectively communicate with volunteers Security and Policy Compliance

- outreach and growth mindset for Kingdom growth Qualifications Personal and growing relationship with Jesus and alignment with LPC's mission and C&MA's statement of faith Become an active member of LPC and regularly participate in the life of the church Desire to be part of a team that works to complete The Great Commission one connection at a time Previous experience working with kids Ability to communicate the Gospel and Biblical truth in engaging ways for kids Strong relational and communication skills Positive, flexible, determined attitude Ability to work collaboratively with others and lead volunteers Willingness to work under the direction of the Lead Pastor and the oversight of the Board Display humility, hospitality, teachability and servant leadership Trauma-informed care training or willingness to receive TIC training is required Expectations The Kids Ministry Leader is expected to work an average of 15-20 hours a week with flexibility concerning church events and kids ministry activities.
