Mondays and Thursdays 6p-8p, (apx $240 monthly) - $13.50 ph - Very dependable and detailed cleaner. Start immediately! Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to serve as a Bunkie in the vibrant community of Bunkie, Louisiana. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with youth and families through faith-based programs, providing mentorship, spiritual guidance, and support within a nonprofit religious organization. The ideal candidate will be energetic, proactive, and passionate about fostering a nurturing environment rooted in religious values. Your leadership will help strengthen community bonds, support youth development, and promote the organization's mission of service and faith. Duties Lead and coordinate youth programs, including religious studies, mentorship initiatives, and community engagement activities. Provide bereavement support and spiritual counseling to individuals and families facing loss or hardship. Organize and facilitate religious events, retreats, and outreach activities that promote faith-based growth. Manage volunteer recruitment, training, and supervision to ensure effective program delivery. Collaborate with church leadership and community partners to develop new initiatives aligned with organizational goals. Offer guidance on social work practices, Christian counseling, and pastoral theology to support holistic well-being. Engage actively with children and youth through mentoring, youth ministry activities, and educational programs designed to foster spiritual development. Experience Prior experience working within a religious organization or faith-based nonprofit setting is highly preferred. Demonstrated leadership in youth engagement or pastoral work, with a strong understanding of religious teaching and community outreach. Experience in volunteer management, event planning, and organizing religious or youth programs. Background in social work or counseling related to grief support or mental health within a faith context. Proven ability to communicate effectively across diverse age groups, especially children and young adults. Knowledge of religious studies, pastoral theology, Christian counseling techniques, and fundraising strategies is advantageous. Previous involvement in mission work or youth ministry roles that emphasize mentorship, community service, and spiritual guidance.
