Qualifications:
Graduate of accredited seminary or school of theology or appropriate certification in pastoral ministry Ability to be open, flexible and ecumenical Make patient visits at their place of residence Comfortable in working with patients and families with life-threatening illness and death
Job Duties:
Participate in IDT meetings & will assist the IDT in evaluating and assessing patients and/or family spiritual needs Maintain proper records of visits as determined by the guidelines and regulations of hospice services Arrange for on-call availability of Chaplain services Work with staff, clergy and community groups to enhance their sensitivity to the spiritual concerns of patients and families
