Job Description

Belle River Baptist Church prayerfully seeks a Bi Vocational Pastor for their growing congregation. The future Pastor should be a man of God who can enhance our knowledge and spiritual development and instill optimism for doing God's will in our world. The Pastor shall be considered the Shepherd and responsible for the overall welfare of the Church.
Qualifications:
Be a licensed and ordained Baptist Minister with a Bible degree or Seminary degree from an accredited institution. Demonstrate ability to preach biblically sound (inspirational and spirit filled) sermons. Associated with the Southern Baptist Association.
Primary Duties:
Provide guidance and support to Church Ministries through effective administration, organization and communication skills. Oversee worship services, Church programs, weddings, funerals, etc. Administer the Holy ordinances of Baptism and Communion. Be the primary teacher of the uncompromising Word of God. Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently with members across all ages and gender. Provide leadership to the deacons, officers and ministry leaders of the Church. Be an effective leader to help with the administration of the Church affairs (conduct Bible Study, Church business meetings, particiate in Sunday School, etc.
