STATUS:

Part-time (3-6 hours per week; changes subject to facility needs)

LOCATION

Norfolk County House of Corrections 200 West Street, Dedham, MA 02026 We are looking for a part-time vendor to serve as a non-denominational minister for our offender population at our facility in Dedham. The vendor will provide services as the non-denominational up to 10 hours per week (schedule TBD by the NCSO). Vendor will meet with sentenced and pre-trial populations (including special housing and special management units, and medical) upon request. Vendor will provide spiritual leadership to this population, providing worship services, individual guidance, and support to the facility regarding matters pertaining to service to the Muslim population in addressing their religious and spiritual needs. Vendor will attend mandatory religious services staff meeting and security training sessions. Vendor to report to Director of Education & Programs. Applicants should be fluent in Spanish to be able to minister to our Spanish-speaking population. Portuguese fluency is a plus. Vendor must follow the security policy. All vendor personnel will be required to pass a security clearance before performing work at the NCSO.
