Youth and/or Worship Leader

Youth and/or Worship Leader Taneytown Baptist Church is located in a growing community of Taneytown, MD, located about an hour from Baltimore and 1-½ hours from Washington, DC! We are currently searching to fill positions for youth leader and worship leader. The position would be full time for a candidate qualified to fill both roles, part time for one role. Qualifications:

? Personal relationship with Jesus Christ marked by spiritual maturity and integrity? Minimum of a bachelors degree, preferably in a related field? Agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message (2000)? Previous experience in youth and/or music ministry a plus

Responsibilities:

Youth Leader -? Lead youth on Wednesday night and Sunday mornings for Sunday school? Coordinate and implement year-round student events, including camps and other recreational and evangelistic activities, with at least one social event per quarter? Represent the church through active involvement in local schools and community activities? Partner along with the staff and congregation to support the vision of Taneytown Baptist Church? Provide care and guidance to students and families as needed? Other responsibilities as assigned by the senior pastorWorship Leader -? Plan and coordinate Sunday morning worship music and provide leadership in congregational singing? Provide leadership and support for special services and events (holidays, revivals, student-led services, etc.) as needed?
