Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, relational leader to shape and grow faith formation ministries while supporting vibrant worship in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. This role is central to engaging children, youth, and families, and building an inclusive, intergenerational community of faith.
What You'll Do:
  • Preach, teach, and participate in worship leadership (approx. monthly)
  • Lead and grow faith formation ministries for children, youth, and adults
  • Oversee confirmation, small groups for all ages, and family ministry initiatives
  • Plan and execute key events (VBS, seasonal celebrations, mission trips)
  • Recruit, train, and support volunteers and lay leaders
  • Expand intergenerational engagement and mentorship opportunities
  • Build relationships with local campus and young adult ministries
  • Oversee digital communication (website, social media, engagement platforms)
  • Ensure Safe Church and child protection practices
  • Collaborate with staff and provide occasional administrative support
Who You Are:
  • Grounded in Lutheran theology (ELCA preferred)
  • Experienced in faith formation, youth, or family ministry
  • A strong communicator and collaborative leader
  • Passionate about inclusion, outreach, and spiritual growth
  • Adaptable and energized by innovation and change

Pay:
From $46,000.00 per year
