This role is central to engaging children, youth, and families, and building an inclusive, intergenerational community of faith.
What You'll Do:
- Preach, teach, and participate in worship leadership (approx. monthly)
- Lead and grow faith formation ministries for children, youth, and adults
- Oversee confirmation, small groups for all ages, and family ministry initiatives
- Plan and execute key events (VBS, seasonal celebrations, mission trips)
- Recruit, train, and support volunteers and lay leaders
- Expand intergenerational engagement and mentorship opportunities
- Build relationships with local campus and young adult ministries
- Oversee digital communication (website, social media, engagement platforms)
- Ensure Safe Church and child protection practices
- Collaborate with staff and provide occasional administrative support
Who You Are:
- Grounded in Lutheran theology (ELCA preferred)
- Experienced in faith formation, youth, or family ministry
- A strong communicator and collaborative leader
- Passionate about inclusion, outreach, and spiritual growth
- Adaptable and energized by innovation and change
