Job Description
The Student Pastor at Lynwood is a vital part of the pastoral staff and is responsible for leading the student ministry (grades 7-12) to engage all students to personally experience Christ and equip them and their families to live a different and impactful life for Jesus. Lynwood Baptist Church currently averages approximately 650 in Sunday morning worship attendance. Cape Girardeau sits on the Mississippi River, along Interstate 55, in Southeast Missouri, approximately 115 miles south of St. Louis and 175 miles north of Memphis. The population of Cape Girardeau is approximately 39,000 with the adjacent communities increasing that number to over 50,000. Cape Girardeau is home to Southeast Missouri State University as well as two significant medical centers that serve the larger region.
