Responsibilities Deliver engaging sermons and religious teachings that resonate with diverse audiences, emphasizing biblical theology and spiritual guidance. Provide pastoral counseling and bereavement support to individuals and families navigating life's challenges, terminal illnesses, or grief. Lead religious services, prayer meetings, and community events that foster fellowship and spiritual development. Offer crisis intervention and conflict management to address personal or community issues with sensitivity and professionalism. Mentor church staff, volunteers, and congregation members in their spiritual journeys through mentoring programs and leadership development initiatives. Collaborate with community organizations to support culturally diverse populations, including working with families facing crises or hospice care needs. Oversee event planning for religious ceremonies, outreach programs, and educational workshops focused on religious studies and Christian counseling. Skills Proven experience in religious leadership within nonprofit faith-based organizations or similar settings. Strong teaching skills in religious studies, biblical theology, and Christian counseling with excellent presentation abilities. Exceptional communication skills for public speaking, crisis management, and conflict resolution. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with culturally diverse communities while maintaining sensitivity to various backgrounds. Skilled in pastoral theology, terminal illness counseling, hospice care support, and crisis intervention techniques. Adept at event planning, mentoring others in leadership roles, and managing complex situations with professionalism. Excellent writing skills for sermon preparation, educational materials, and community outreach content.
