What You'll Do Provide compassionate spiritual care to hospice patients and their families. Complete spiritual assessments and help develop individualized plans of care. Collaborate with nurses, social workers, aides, volunteers, and physicians as part of our interdisciplinary hospice team. Coordinate care with community clergy and spiritual leaders when appropriate. Offer emotional and spiritual support through prayer, conversation, scripture, sacraments (when applicable), or simply a compassionate presence. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and patient care conferences. Recruit and support community clergy and spiritual care volunteers. Assist with memorial services and bereavement events as requested. Maintain timely documentation of visits and services. Support Freudenthal Hospice's mission of providing compassionate, patient-centered end-of-life care. Qualifications Master of Divinity (MDiv), Bachelor of Divinity (BD), or equivalent theological education. Experience in pastoral ministry, chaplaincy, hospice, healthcare, or grief support preferred. Comfortable serving individuals of diverse faith backgrounds and belief systems. Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Commitment to the hospice philosophy of dignity, compassion, and quality of life. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance. Why Freudenthal Hospice?
