The Elevation Church Kids Pastor/Director will lead and direct Elevation Kids in order to partner with families to raise a generation who loves Christ and His mission. The Kids Pastor/Director will also work with our student director to make sure there is synergy and continuity between our Kids Ministry and Student Ministry. (This role has the potential to supervise our Student Director)
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS A

MINISTRY RESPONSIBILITIES
Elevation Church Staff Team Participate in weekly meetings and contribute to building a healthy team culture Meet regularly with supervisor for development and strategic planning Kids Ministry The overall leadership, execution, and implementation of the weekend in Kids Ministry. Recruit, oversee, train, communicate with, and care for volunteers in all areas of Elevation Kids Responsible for the safety of all children by means of completing background checks, verifying character references, and regularly evaluation safety policies and standards Oversee implementation of curriculum Have all curriculum and classes prepped and ready for Sunday mornings Organize and coordinate all events for Elevation Kids Maintain the Kids ministry space by keeping it well-stocked, organized, and kid-friendly Responsible for the atmosphere of the Kids area Manage Kids ministry outreach opportunities and serve at all required church/kids events Manage the annual budget, order supplies, and maintain accurate records of attendance and registration for events Collaborate with church leadership regarding goals and objectives for NextGen ministries Lead in communicating and executing milestone events (e.g., Parent Commissioning, Gospel & Baptism Class, Family Mission Trips) Student Ministry (If supervising Student Director) Oversee the management and direction of the Elevation Students by advising and directing the Student Director Assist and provide support in teaching environments Where applicable, help families transition smoothly from Kids Ministry to Student Ministry Family Discipleship & Relationships Partner with guardians of kids and students to provide them with the tools to be disciples in their kids' and students' lives Equip and resource parents to be the primary disciplers of their kids and students Be part of helping new families find a home at Elevation through building relationships and connecting them to the life of the church body
