Role:
Coney Island Homecare is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Chaplain to join our care team in Bozeman, MT. In this meaningful role, you'll provide vital spiritual and emotional support to patients and their families during life's most profound moments. Responsibilities:
Provide non-denominational spiritual care and emotional support to hospice patients and their families Conduct bedside visits, prayer, and spiritual counseling in home and facility settings Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice care team to address patients' holistic needs Facilitate memorial services, end-of-life rituals, and bereavement support Assess and document spiritual needs as part of the patient care plan Coordinate with community clergy and faith leaders on behalf of patients when requested Provide grief counseling and bereavement follow-up to families after patient passing
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Divinity, Theology, Pastoral Care, or a related field preferred Previous experience in hospice, palliative care, or healthcare chaplaincy strongly preferred Ability to provide compassionate, non-judgmental spiritual care across diverse faith traditions Strong interpersonal and active listening skills with a calm, comforting presence Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visit travel in the Bozeman area Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team
