- Full-time Overview We are seeking an inspiring and compassionate Lead Pastor to guide and nurture our faith community, while honoring our traditions and ministries.
This vital role involves providing spiritual leadership, fostering a welcoming environment, and empowering members to grow in their faith journeys . The Lead Pastor will serve as the primary preacher delivering scripture-based sermons, and as a visionary, ensuring that the church's mission and values are reflected in all aspects of church life. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through dynamic leadership, heartfelt teaching, and compassionate outreach. Responsibilities Deliver engaging sermons that inspire faith, hope, and love while aligning with biblical teachings. Provide pastoral care, including bereavement support, crisis intervention, and Christian counseling to individuals and families facing life challenges. Lead worship services, prayer meetings, and special events that foster spiritual growth and community connection. Oversee church programs related to outreach initiatives that serve the broader community. Mentor church staff and volunteers, cultivating leadership skills and fostering a collaborative team environment. Able to navigate and use technology, social media, and multimedia as tools for ministry. Develop educational opportunities such as teaching classes, workshops, or seminars on faith-related topics using strong presentation skills and clear communication. Plan and coordinate community events, outreach programs, and service projects that reflect the church's mission. Qualifications Proven leadership experience within a faith-based organization or church setting. Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver compelling sermons and presentations. Demonstrated expertise in Christian counseling, bereavement support, and crisis intervention. Excellent writing skills for preparing sermons, newsletters, or educational materials. Experience in event planning for worship services, community outreach events, or educational programs. Ability to handle conflict management with sensitivity and professionalism while maintaining a positive environment. Skilled at mentoring staff and volunteers to foster spiritual growth and effective teamwork. Will have a positive and visible presence in the community. We will consider a newly Ordained applicant.
