Job Description

Job Summary Raleigh Chinese Christian Church seeks a Cantonese-speaking Pastor/Minister, fluent in Cantonese and English (Mandarin is a plus), to lead and shepherd the Cantonese congregation. The role centers on fulfilling the church's mission through spiritual leadership, biblical teaching, and community care. Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Ministry:
    Guide members in fulfilling the Great Commandment and Great Commission. Lead worship and ministry programs tailored to Cantonese-speaking adults and families.
  • Teaching & Spiritual Growth:
    Provide sound biblical instruction, discipleship training, and personal pastoral care.
  • Evangelism & Community Outreach:
    Plan and participate in events to reach the local community and nurture spiritual development.
  • Team Collaboration:
    Partner with other pastors, elders, deacons, and ministry teams to support the broader church body. Qualifications & Expectations
  • Spiritual Maturity:
    Demonstrated life of prayer, sound doctrine, and Christian character.
  • Education:
    M.Div. degree from a conservative, evangelical seminary (or equivalent).
  • Experience:
    Prior experience in pastoral ministry.

Fluent in Cantonese and English, culturally Chinese, good interpersonal skills.
