Job Description
The Director of Discipleship provides leadership, vision, and oversight for the spiritual formation of the church. This role champions a culture where every person is growing as a disciple of Jesus and actively making disciples. This leader oversees the discipleship pathway of the entire church — from children through adults — and oversees the Kids and Student ministry staff. The goal of this role is not merely running programs, but building people: equipping leaders, aligning ministries, and shaping a church-wide culture of everyday discipleship in the home, church, and community. This leader will shepherd the congregation, preach and teach, lead staff and key volunteers, while staying deeply aligned with the Co-Lead pastors and the overall vision, doctrine, and culture of Citylight South Church. Educational & Experience ? Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred ? 3-5 years of ministry leadership experience
