Job Description:
Provides spiritual support to patients, families and staff on assigned units through the John Muir Health system. The Chaplain Resident fulfills the ACPE accredited program requirements.Education:
Master's Degree Theological Studies- Preferred College Level Coursework CPE
- Clinical Pastoral Education
- One (1) unit
Preferred Experience:
1 year Healthcare- Spiritual Care
- Preferred and/or Healthcare
- Chaplaincy
Preferred Additional Experience Requirements:
Experience in Hospital ministryPreferred Certifications/Licensures:
Ordination in Recognized Faith Group- Preferred and/or Faith Group Endorsement
Preferred Skills:
Sensitivity to diverse religious and cultural practices and values. Maintains professional and personal integrity. Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point) Basic Pastoral Skills. Demonstrates empath y and compassion. Reflects theologically.Work Shift:
