In this role, you will provide compassionate presence, facilitate spiritual and emotional well-being, and support individuals facing various life challenges. Your work will help foster a sense of hope, resilience, and connection among those you serve. This paid contract position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while engaging with underserved populations and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders. Responsibilities Offer spiritual counseling and emotional support tailored to individual needs and beliefs. Conduct regular visits to patients, residents, or community members to provide comfort and companionship. Facilitate religious services, prayer sessions, or mindfulness activities when appropriate. Support individuals with intellectual disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders through compassionate engagement and tailored interventions. Assist in emergency situations by providing first aid or CPR as needed, ensuring safety and well-being. Collaborate with healthcare teams, social workers, and community organizations to coordinate holistic care. Maintain accurate documentation of interactions, support plans, and incident reports in compliance with organizational policies. Experience Proven experience working with individuals from underserved communities or vulnerable populations. Demonstrated ability to support individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders through compassionate communication and tailored approaches. Prior experience providing spiritual care or counseling in healthcare, community service, or related settings preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport across diverse cultural backgrounds.
