Compensation Range:
$23.27 - $32.60 _The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._Responsibilities:
- The TAR Chaplain offers spiritual/religious care to patients, family and staff in all areas of the hospital to all age groups when on-call overnight or during the day and participates in other departmental activities when possible.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- + Offers spiritual support to patients, families and staff during on-call shifts and when covering the on-call pager during the day.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- + Master's degree in Div from an accredited seminary and one unit of ACPE/Clinical Pastoral Education required + Or equivalent combination of education and experience + Experience working in a team based environment required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- + Ability to be a source of spiritual support to patients and their families required (e.g. partners and significant others) + Ability to use technology in writing patient notes required (complete ongoing hospital training, and have experience working in a team based environment)
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
- + Board Certification as a chaplain with APC, NACC or NAJC.
