This position involves providing pastoral care, leading worship services, and fostering community engagement. Must understand five fold ministry and the gospel of the Kingdom! A Team couple would be great with a background in worship and education! Must be able to move into Senior Pastor role in 6 months to a year due to retirement of Senior Pastor! Responsibilities Deliver sermons, teachings, and presentations that inspire and educate congregation members Provide bereavement support and hospice care to families experiencing loss Offer Christian counseling Lead and coordinate worship services, prayer meetings, and special events Mentor church members and develop leadership within the congregation Plan and organize community outreach programs and church events Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to support members during emergencies or difficult times Assist in training volunteers and developing educational materials for church programs Maintain effective communication with congregation members through various channels Requirements Proven experience in teaching, public speaking, presentation skills, and event planning Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication, writing, and mentoring skills Ability to provide crisis intervention, crisis management, and conflict resolution effectively Knowledge of bereavement support, hospice care, Christian counseling, and pastoral care best practices Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously understanding of prophetic worship Previous experience in a pastoral or ministry role is preferred but not required This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a faith-based community by providing spiritual guidance, emotional support, and leadership.
