Qualifications and Skills Degree from an accredited theological school is preferred. Experience counseling people who come from diverse religious/spiritual backgrounds. Knowledgeable of the religious community within the hospice service area. Experience relating to a wide variety of patients/families. Must understand and agree with the hospice philosophy. Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. Willingness to serve on-call. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and the minimum state required liability auto insurance. Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function Strong organizational and communication skills; self-directed and able to work independently A professional image and the ability to maintain a positive and respectful attitude are crucial
