Job Description
Christ Culture Church is seeking a spiritually grounded, relationally mature Associate Pastor of Formation to help people grow in Christ through intentional discipleship, spiritual practices, and community life. This role exists to cultivate deep spiritual formation across our church by building clear pathways for growth and helping people move from first connection to spiritual maturity. The Associate Pastor of Formation will oversee Next Steps at Christ Culture Church, ensuring a clear and healthy on-ramp from Sunday services into discipleship, community, and mission. This includes pathways such as Connect in 10, membership and partnership processes, Microchurches, Grow Groups, and spiritual formation initiatives that align with our mission to see people grow in Christ. Key Responsibilities Oversee Next Steps pathways that move people from connection to formation Develop and lead discipleship environments that help people grow in Christ Provide oversight and support for Microchurches and Grow Groups Equip and develop group leaders and discipleship leaders Oversee membership, partnership, and spiritual formation processes Provide pastoral care, teaching, and leadership development Collaborate with the Lead Pastor and staff to cultivate a Spirit-led, Scripture-centered culture Qualifications A vibrant, growing relationship with Jesus and a shepherd s heart Strong theological grounding with a Spirit-filled, Scripture-centered approach Experience in discipleship, group ministry, or pastoral leadership Ability to build systems without losing pastoral care and relational depth Alignment with Christ Culture Church s vision, values, and mission This role is ideal for a pastor who carries a burden for spiritual formation and desires to help people take meaningful next steps toward maturity, community, and mission.
