Youth Ministry Leader - Male Discipleship (Part-Time) Crossroads Fellowship - 4.8 Keizer, OR Job Details Part-time From $20 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Interpersonal skills Volunteer management Working with students Youth counseling Camp experience Full Job Description Youth Ministry Leader - Male Discipleship (Part-Time) Crossroads Fellowship | Keizer, Oregon Part-Time | 10-15 hours per week | $20/hour Reports to: Lead Pastor About the Position Crossroads Fellowship is looking for a passionate follower of Jesus to invest in the next generation by building relationships with, leading, and discipling middle and high school guys. This position will serve alongside our current Girls Youth Leader to help lead one unified, Christ-centered student ministry. We are looking for someone who genuinely loves Jesus, enjoys spending time with students, and has a heart for helping young men discover who Jesus is and grow into lifelong followers of Him. This is more than planning activities or running a weekly youth program. We want someone who will invest in students personally, model what it looks like to follow Jesus, and help create a student ministry where students feel known, welcomed, and challenged to grow in their faith. What You'll Do Build meaningful relationships with middle and high school guys and intentionally invest in their spiritual growth. Lead and disciple male students through small groups, Bible studies, conversations, and other discipleship opportunities. Help students understand Scripture and learn what it looks like to follow Jesus in everyday life. Partner closely with our Girls Youth Leader to plan and lead weekly Sunday evening youth gatherings. Help plan and lead camps, retreats, special events, service projects, and outreach opportunities. Create opportunities for students to connect, have fun, build relationships, and grow spiritually. Develop relationships with parents and partner with them in supporting and discipling their students. Recruit, encourage, and develop adult volunteer leaders who will invest in students. Work collaboratively with the Lead Pastor, church staff, and other ministry leaders as part of the larger ministry of Crossroads Fellowship. Help create a safe, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment where students can belong, ask questions, and grow. Participate regularly in the life of Crossroads Fellowship, including Sunday morning worship services. Attend and help lead Sunday evening youth group each week. Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who: Has a growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and seeks to live out their faith authentically. Has a heart for discipling middle and high school students, particularly young men. Enjoys building genuine relationships with students and meeting them where they are. Is comfortable teaching and discussing Scripture with students. Is relational, dependable, approachable, and a strong communicator. Works well as part of a team and enjoys collaborating with other leaders. Is willing to invest in parents and build relationships with families. Can recruit, encourage, and develop volunteer leaders. Is aligned with the mission, beliefs, and ministry philosophy of Crossroads Fellowship. Is committed to regularly attending Crossroads Fellowship on Sunday mornings and participating in the life of the church. Has previous youth ministry or youth leadership experience preferred, but it is not required. Schedule & Compensation 10-15 hours per week $20 per hour Sunday evening youth group attendance is required. Regular Sunday morning attendance at Crossroads Fellowship is expected. Additional hours will include planning, student and parent connection, staff/team meetings, special events, camps, retreats, and other student ministry activities. Reports directly to the Lead Pastor. About Crossroads Fellowship Crossroads Fellowship is a growing church in Keizer, Oregon, with a simple mission: Helping people find and follow Jesus. Our student ministry currently serves approximately 15 middle and high school students, and we believe this is an important area of growth for our church. We are committed to investing in our students and in the leaders who serve them. We aren't looking for someone who simply wants to run a youth program. We're looking for someone who wants to walk alongside students, build relationships, and help young men take meaningful next steps in following Jesus.
