Position Title Contemporary Worship Leader Reports To Senior Pastor Position Summary The Contemporary Worship Leader is responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading engaging contemporary worship experiences that inspire spiritual growth and encourage congregational participation. This individual will cultivate a Christ-centered worship environment through music, leadership, creativity, and teamwork while supporting the overall mission and vision of the church. Key Responsibilities Worship Planning Collaborates with pastor to select design set list. Leading services Lead vocal and play instrument during worship service while engaging congregation Team Development Recruit, train and mentor band members and vocalists. Schedule volunteers for worship services, special events and Concerts. Technical Coordination Coordinate sound, media elements with tech volunteers and planning center Manage worship ministry schedules and communication effectively. Qualifications Committed Christian with a Strong personal faith in Jesus Christ. Proficiency in music (strong vocal skills and at least plays the guitar or keyboard) Leadership skills Experience in managing volunteers Ability to communicate clearly with band members, staff and volunteers. Creative initiatives to engage church and community in music Work Schedule Part-time (5-15hrs) per week Includes all worship activities, weekends, rehearsals, special events, and occasional holidays. Compensation Salaried ($20,000 - $25,000) based on experience and qualifications
