Join a Mission-Driven Community Camilla Hall is seeking a compassionate, faith-filled Director of Pastoral Care to lead and coordinate the spiritual, pastoral, and sacramental life of our resident Sisters. Job Summary As the Director of Pastoral Care, you will: Lead and oversee the Pastoral Care Department and ensure policies and procedures are implemented. Provide compassionate pastoral presence through listening, prayer, support, and spiritual accompaniment. Meet the spiritual and pastoral needs of the Sisters, including those newly admitted to Camilla Hall and those hospitalized off site. Coordinate liturgies, sacramental celebrations, prayer services, and other spiritual opportunities with the pastoral team. Support Sisters, families, and staff during times of illness, grief, and loss. Collaborate with resident priest chaplains and welcome visiting clergy. Oversee and support the ministry of Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and the Sacristan. Assist with planning and coordinating Sisters' funeral liturgies. Partner with volunteer coordinators to recruit, orient, and support pastoral care volunteers. Integrate pastoral care into the overall care of our residents through staff education and interdisciplinary collaboration. Develop and manage the department budget and maintain appropriate ministry records. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, healthcare regulations, and all Camilla Hall policies and procedures. Participate in continuing education and professional development. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Theology, Pastoral Ministry, Religious Studies, or a related field preferred. Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or equivalent pastoral experience preferred. Experience in pastoral care, healthcare ministry, long-term care, hospice, or religious communities strongly preferred. Practicing Catholic with a strong understanding of Catholic liturgy, sacraments, and pastoral ministry. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to minister with compassion, sensitivity, and respect for the dignity of every person. Ability to work collaboratively with Sisters, clergy, staff, volunteers, families, and leadership. Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare confidentiality requirements.
