Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Children's Ministry Director to lead and inspire our church's children's programs. This vital role involves developing engaging spiritual activities, fostering a nurturing environment, and guiding children in their faith journey. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep commitment to faith-based education, and experience working with children and youth in religious settings. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate religious education curricula that align with the church's mission and values Lead, coordinate, and oversee weekly children's worship services, Sunday school classes, and special holiday programs Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support children's ministry activities and ensure safety protocols are followed Foster meaningful relationships with children and their families through mentoring, communication, and pastoral care Organize community outreach events, mission projects, and family engagement activities to strengthen church community bonds Collaborate with church leadership to plan events that promote spiritual growth and youth engagement within the congregation Provide guidance on religious studies topics, including biblical teachings, Christian counseling techniques, and faith-based social work practices Qualifications Proven experience working with children in religious or educational settings, including youth ministry or childcare within a faith-based organization is not required but a plus. Excellent communication skills for engaging children, families, volunteers, and church staff
