Job Summary New Life Church is prayerfully seeking a Lead Pastor to shepherd our congregation, preach and teach God's Word, equip believers for ministry, and help lead us into the next season of mission and growth. We are looking for a Christ-centered, biblically sound leader who has demonstrated a pastoral heart for people and possesses strong preaching and teaching skills. It is imperative that candidates have experience leading and developing ministry teams that equip our church to care for and serve others. We desire to fulfill Jesus' mission of making disciple makers. Responsibilities Deliver sermons and biblical teachings to the main congregation, ensuring that the message aligns with the church's mission and encourages spiritual growth. Oversees the spiritual health of the church, guiding members in faith and fostering a Christ-centered community Provide compassionate care and support to individuals and families in need, shepherding the congregation through life's challenges. Supervise church staff and oversee all ministry areas, ensuring effective leadership and alignment with church values. Promote a sense of community within the church, encouraging fellowship and active participation among the members. Pray regularly for the church, its volunteers, members, and families, seeking God's guidance and blessings. Plan church events and outreach in initiatives to share the Gospel and engage both the congregation and the wider community. Skills Bachelor's degree in Theology, Ministry, Divinity, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of pastoral experience, including preaching, teaching, and church leadership. Demonstrated commitment to Christian faith and values, deep understanding of biblical doctrine, and the ability to communicate it effectively. Skilled in working with culturally diverse communities and understanding different cultural perspectives on faith. Proven ability to lead and supervise staff and volunteers. Experience working collaboratively with elders and church board. Compassionate and approachable, with a heart for shepherding individuals and families. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to connect with a diverse audience and foster community. Strong planning and administrative abilities, capable of overseeing church operations and ministry areas. Passion for evangelism and community engagement. $48,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
