Job Description

Mountain Creek Baptist Church is seeking a full-time Pastor for Youth and Missions to join our pastoral staff. MCBC is a growing church in a growing city, and we're passionate about magnifying God, maturing in Christ, ministering to others, and multiplying disciples from our neighbors to the nations. The Pastor for Youth and Missions will give primary leadership to our ministry to middle and high school students, helping students grow as disciples of Jesus and partnering with parents in their discipleship. He will provide biblical teaching, relational shepherding, and leadership for the students as well as our volunteer team who serves our students. This pastor will also help lead and strengthen MCBC's churchwide commitment to missions. He will work with our pastors and ministry leaders to cultivate a heart for missions and evangelism in our congregation. This will include developing and growing our mission partnerships and creating opportunities for our church family to participate in local, national, and international missions. We are looking for a man who loves Christ and His church, is grounded in Scripture, has a heart for students and families, and desires to equip believers to live on mission. The ideal candidate will be a relational shepherd, capable teacher, collaborative leader, and committed member of the pastoral team. To apply, please submit a résumé and cover letter to jobs@mountaincreekbc.org.
