Job Description
Manley Baptist Church is seeking a spiritually mature, musically gifted, and relationally strong Worship Pastor to provide vision and leadership for worship across our church. Manley is a growing, multigenerational Southern Baptist church in East Tennessee. Our mission is guiding distracted families to live with Christ-centered purpose . The Worship Pastor will lead congregational worship and provide pastoral and strategic leadership for Manley s worship ministry. This includes leading our established adult choir and developing musicians, vocalists, worship teams, and future worship leaders. Working with the Senior Pastor and executive leadership, the Worship Pastor will help shape and carry out a churchwide vision for worship. This vision extends beyond the main worship services into our children s and student ministries. The Worship Pastor will partner with ministry leaders to help every generation understand worship as a biblical, whole-life response to God. Manley values a broad range of biblically faithful music. The right candidate will lead our multigenerational congregation with wisdom, choosing music that is theologically sound, congregationally singable, and appropriate for the entire church family. The Leader We Are Seeking The ideal candidate will: Demonstrate a clear testimony of salvation and meet the biblical qualifications for pastoral leadership. Affirm Manley Baptist Church s statement of faith and align with Southern Baptist theology. Have experience leading multigenerational worship and an established choir. Develop healthy teams and future worship leaders. Lead with spiritual maturity, humility, collaboration, and excellence. Hold a ministry-related degree or possess comparable ministry experience.
