Job Description
Grace Baptist Church in Nashville, TN is seeking a full-time Worship Minister to lead our congregation in heartfelt, Christ-centered worship. Join us in our mission of connecting people to be purpose-filled followers of Christ as we invest in people and raise and release transformational leaders. The Worship Minister will provide pastoral and musical leadership for the worship ministry of Grace Baptist Church, working closely with the Senior Pastor to plan and lead Sunday worship and special services. This role includes leading and developing our choir, worship band, and other worship ministries while providing leadership and supervision to our Media Director and media ministry. The ideal candidate will have a clear calling to pastoral ministry, a heart for shepherding people, strong musical and worship-leading abilities, and the ability to recruit, equip, and develop volunteers. This position is part of a mission-driven church pursuing a bold vision of raising and sending transformational leaders. The Worship Minister will serve as a pastor as well as a worship leader, participating in the broader life and ministry of the church through discipleship, outreach, pastoral care, and involvement in our community and Connect Groups. Candidates should be committed to biblical discipleship, passionate about leading the church to worship Christ, and equipped through education and experience to lead and develop a multigenerational worship ministry.
