Job Description
Frisco First touts the idea that people belong where they can know and be known by others. Sunday Morning LIFEGroups are the lifeblood of that idea. More than 75% of worshipers at Frisco First are engaged in a LIFEGroup. The Minister of LIFEGroups and Men is central to helping the church live out its mission of inviting people into relationship with Jesus and each other. The right person will take initiative in growing and expanding the ministry by building leaders, starting new groups, strengthening culture, and helping create pathways for growth. About the Opportunity A more detailed job description will be provided during the interview process. The best candidate for this role will bring an inclination to Be Real (I Peter 3:8), Bring Life (Hebrews 10:24-25), and Link Arms (Ephesians 4:2-3) as a part of a team rowing in the same direction. He should have a ministry-based master's degree and must have experience growing, leading, and developing Sunday morning on-campus groups. In this new role for Frisco First, and reporting to the Executive Pastor, the Minister of LIFEGroups and Men will be responsible for significant disciple-making. LIFEGroup Responsibilities Recruit leaders, develop new groups, and administrate meeting times and locations.
Equip leaders through curriculum curation, training, and communication.
Shepherd the spiritual health of LIFEGroup leaders.
Connect new people to LIFEGroups through personal relationships, pipeline development, and events.
Develop a strategic vision for the future and new adult discipleship ministry initiatives.
Lead a team of three staff including the Minister of Pastoral Care and Senior Adults, Associate Minister, and the Minister to Women and Serve. He will manage the LIFEGroup Ministry budget. And, if gifted in preaching, this Minister may speak occasionally on Sunday mornings. Salary range of $73,000-78,000 with generous benefits.
