This paid position offers an opportunity to lead with faith-based guidance, foster healing through pastoral counseling, and coordinate bereavement programs that make a meaningful difference. Your leadership in spiritual care and crisis intervention will help families navigate terminal illness with dignity and hope, creating a supportive environment rooted in religious understanding and cultural sensitivity. Duties Provide spiritual guidance and pastoral counseling to patients facing terminal illness, ensuring their spiritual needs are met with compassion and respect. Lead religious services, prayer sessions, and faith-based rituals tailored to diverse cultural backgrounds within the hospice setting. Develop and implement comprehensive bereavement support programs for grieving families, including individual counseling and group sessions. Serve as a trusted resource for families, offering crisis intervention, conflict management, and emotional support during times of loss. Conduct public speaking engagements and educational presentations on topics such as biblical theology, spiritual wellness, and grief management for community groups or staff training. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate spiritual care into overall patient treatment plans while respecting individual beliefs. Strong background in teaching religious studies, pastoral theology, Christian counseling, and terminal illness counseling. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with culturally diverse communities and facilitate sensitive conversations around death and grief. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex spiritual concepts clearly and empathetically to varied audiences. Skilled in crisis management, conflict resolution, mentoring, and event planning related to pastoral or spiritual settings. Knowledge of hospice care protocols combined with experience in bereavement support programs is highly desirable. Adept at writing reports, developing educational materials, and maintaining detailed documentation of spiritual care activities. Join us in making a profound impact by guiding individuals through their final journey with faith-based compassion while supporting families through their grief with expertise and heartfelt dedication. This is more than a job — it's an opportunity to serve with purpose in a dynamic environment that values leadership, cultural sensitivity, and the transformative power of spiritual care.
