Pastoral Position Description Position Title:
Full Time Lead Pastor Primary Responsibilities:
Preaching Teaching Pastoral care (water baptism, funerals, hospital and in-home visits) Outreach Working closely with church council Community involvement in services or groups
Expected Qualifications:
Ordination or Pre-Ordination Seminary degree or equivalent Pastoral and ministerial experience preferred Mentoring capabilities
Personal Attributes Sought:
Leads worship services in a smooth orderly fashion Willing to include lay people in worship services Is empathetic and people oriented Ecumenically minded
Preferred Background:
Protestant Evangelical beliefs
