About the Position
CENTRO ALFA
is seeking a spiritually mature and experienced Bilingual Youth Pastor / Youth Ministry Director to lead and develop our youth ministry. This is a part-time position of approximately 12 hours per week. The person in this role will provide biblical teaching and discipleship, build relationships with young people and their families, organize youth activities, and help develop a strong team of volunteers. Responsibilities Lead one weekly Sunday youth class. Lead one one-hour Zoom Bible study and discipleship session each week. Organize and lead two recreational or social youth activities each month, normally on Fridays or Saturdays. Prepare and teach biblical lessons appropriate for youth. Provide ongoing discipleship and spiritual guidance. Follow up with youth and maintain good communication with parents. Recruit, organize, and lead a team of youth ministry volunteers. Encourage youth participation and help develop the growth of the youth ministry. Organize activities that promote fellowship, spiritual growth, and healthy relationships among the youth. Qualifications Must be bilingual in English and Spanish . Demonstrated spiritual maturity and Christian character. Strong ability to teach the Bible and communicate effectively with youth. Previous experience working with or ministering to youth is essential. Ability to organize and lead Bible studies, discipleship activities, and youth events. Ability to recruit, train, and lead volunteers. Good communication and interpersonal skills. A seminary degree is not necessarily required ; practical ministry experience, spiritual maturity, and teaching ability are highly valued.
Compensation & Schedule Part-time:
Approximately 12 hours per week. $1,200-$1,800 per month , depending on experience and abilities. Primarily includes Sunday ministry, one weekday Zoom session, and two monthly Friday/Saturday activities. There is potential for the position to become full-time in the future .
Pay:
$1,200.00 - $1,800.00 per month
