Community Healthcare of Texas is currently recruiting for a Spiritual Care Coordinator.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Spiritual Care Coordinator provides spiritual and emotional support for patients, families, and staff; assists in connecting families with avenues of spiritual support and provides ongoing bereavement care. RESPONSIBILITIESAssess patient/family with spiritual care needs; participate in the plan of careProvide spiritual and emotional support according to the plan of careParticipate in on-call rotation and various schedules/duties as assigned or neededDocument visits/phone calls according to PolicyParticipate in Interdisciplinary Team meetingsProvide aftercare and bereavement support in cooperation with the Bereavement CoordinatorProvide spiritual and emotional support for staff
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Religious Studies required.
