Job Description
We are looking for a motivated, dedicated and compassionate Senior Pastor to lead our congregation with integrity and vision. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep commitment to promoting spiritual growth, community engagement, and pastoral care. This role involves preaching, teaching, and providing support to individuals during times of need, while fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all ages. We value the pastor's availability to the congregation and willingness to be involved in the local community. Therefore, we are pleased to offer a parsonage (with paid utilities, etc.) within walking distance of the church as one of the key benefits for this position.
Responsibilities:
Preach and teach God's Word with biblical accuracy, clarity, and practical application. Provide spiritual leadership that encourages discipleship, prayer, and Christian growth. Shepherd the congregation through pastoral care, counseling, visitation, and encouragement. Lead worship services and administer the ordinances of the church. Collaborate with church leaders to develop and implement the vision and mission of the congregation. Provide administrative leadership while supporting ministry programs and church operations. Encourage outreach and meaningful engagement within the local community. Foster a welcoming, Christ-centered culture where individuals and families can grow in faith.Requirements:
Proven experience in public speaking and teaching within a religious or community setting. Strong background in conflict management and crisis management techniques. Demonstrated ability to lead diverse groups of people with compassion, sensitivity and understanding. Experience in providing bereavement support and hospice care is highly desirable.Job Type:
Part-time Pay:
$24,000.00 - $28,000.00 per year Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per weekBenefits:
