Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Senior Pastor to lead our faith community with energy, compassion, and clarity. This vital role involves guiding spiritual growth, fostering a welcoming environment, and providing pastoral care to individuals and families. The Senior Pastor will serve as the spiritual leader, preacher, counselor, and community builder, ensuring that our church's mission and values are reflected in all aspects of ministry. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a deep commitment to serving others through faith-based initiatives. Responsibilities Deliver engaging sermons and religious teachings that inspire and uplift the congregation. Administer baptisms, communion, and counseling Mentor church staff, volunteers, and congregation members to nurture their faith journeys and leadership potential. Create religious education programs, including childrens ministry programs Plan and coordinate outreach activities, community service projects, and faith-based events to strengthen community bonds. Requirements Ordained and licensed minister Minimum 2 years in Christian pastoral and/or ministerial experience Exceptional public speaking skills with the ability to communicate complex spiritual concepts clearly and passionately. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience mentoring staff and volunteers in a nonprofit faith-based organization. Strong writing skills for sermon preparation, newsletters, reports, and other communication materials. Ability to plan events effectively while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
