Job Description

Multi-Location Youth Group Coordinator under the supervision of the Director of Pastoral Ministries. 1. To take lead of Family Parish 32 Youth Group under the supervision of Director of Pastoral Ministries. 2. To serve as Director of Family Catechesis at 0048-St. Barbara Parish location. 3. Assist with summer Youth Convention and Vacation Bible School; Youth Mission Trip and 2-3 Youth Service Days per year. 4. Administrative tasks as assigned. Bachelor's degree in
Theology Faith & Standing:
Must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing who lives and is committed to Church doctrine and evangelization.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Theology, Religious Education, Youth Ministry, Pastoral Studies, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
2 to 3 years of experience in Youth Ministry, catechesis, or working with youth and volunteers in a parish or Catholic school setting.
Safe Environment:
Full compliance with diocesan Child Protection Policies, including background checks and Safe Environment/VIRTUS training.
Skills:
Strong leadership, interpersonal communication, and organizational abilities, plus basic digital literacy (Microsoft Office, social media, etc.).
Availability:
Regular requirement to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overnight retreats or conferences.
Language:
Bi-lingual not required but beneficial. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
