Job Description

Position Purpose To cover the Family Medical Leave of the Director of Faith Formation for St. Joseph in Ferndale, St. Joachim at Lummi, and St. Anne in Blaine. Responsibilities General Carries out the mission of Christ according to the dictates of the Catholic Church, within the areas of parish responsibility, guided by the vision of the parish Pastor. Participates in staff activities, including staff meetings, as requested by the Pastor. Works to stay current in knowledge and skills related to job responsibilities. Specific For the churches listed, employee will specifically cover the following faith formation responsibilities: Registering families for Faith Formation and Sacramental Preparation programs in ParishStaq. Recording sacraments in both the parish permanent sacramental record books and in ParishStaq. Creating and providing calendars and class lists to paid and volunteer Faith Formation staff. Ordering curricular materials for specific Sacramental Preparation and Faith Formation offerings. Supervising and supporting faith formation volunteers. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
