Work Schedule:

We are looking for a high-capacity, strategic Kids Ministry Pastor to lead our Birth through 5th Grade division. At its core, this role is for a high-capacity leader of leaders who combines strategic vision with deep relational intelligence to build, scale, and inspire large ministry teams. In this role, you aren t just managing a department; you are the Head Coach and Chief Recruiter for our kids' ministry team. Your primary mandate is leadership multiplication. You will focus your energy on scouting talent, building high-performing volunteer teams, and equipping adult leaders to execute ministry with excellence. You will architect a culture where the next generation safely encounters Jesus, builds deep roots in faith, and experiences a church culture they actually want to be a part of. Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
Recruit & Scout Talent:
Actively recruit, train, and deploy a high-caliber team of adult volunteers and leaders, ensuring that leadership is distributed effectively across all age groups. Develop a
Leadership Pipeline:
Mentor, coach, and invest in your team captains and coordinators so they are fully equipped to run their specific environments with confidence.
Strategic Oversight:
Provide oversight for all birth through 5th-grade environments, ensuring systems run smoothly, curriculum is biblically faithful, and the environments are optimized for growth.
Safety & Risk Management:
Oversee security protocols, secure check-in systems, and background screening to ensure a safe, secure environment that gives parents total confidence.
Budget & Resource Allocation:
Work with church executive leaders to strategically manage the kids ministry budget, projecting future financial and resource needs for multi-site expansion.
Drive Sunday Momentum:
Serve as the visible leader on Sundays-not to do all the work yourself, but to cast vision, connect with new families, and cheer on the leadership team executing the frontline ministry. Job Requirements (What You Need to Know & Have)

Church Attendance:

Leader of Leaders:
You have a proven track record (3-5 years) of building, scaling, and managing large church teams.
Strategic & Relational Intelligence:
You can command a room, motivate a team, and communicate a vision that makes people want to jump on board.
Systems Thinker:
You look at ministry through the lens of systems, growth, and scalability. You can manage multiple moving parts without losing sight of the big picture.
Effective Communicator:
Excellent at public speaking, writing clear organizational communications, and utilizing standard digital tools (Google Docs, church databases).
Background Clearance:
Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check. Physical Requirements You must have the physical stamina and command presence to lead in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
