Day, 1.0 How you'll make an impact in this role: Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and associates. Lead pastoral services, including sacraments, rituals, blessings, and liturgies. Collaborate with care teams to support holistic patient care. Registration:
Board Certification from the ACPE, APC, NACC, CASC, or the NAJC at time of hire or job transfer (or obtained within two years of hire or job transfer; risking termination if not obtained within timeframe) is required. For those not board certified at time of hire or job transfer, ecclesiastical endorsement is required.
Education:
Master's degree or enrolled in a Master's degree program in Theology, Spirituality, Social Work, Divinity, Philosophy, Servant Leadership, Pastorial Studies, Human Behavior, or a related field from an accredited school is required. 3 units of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by the ACPE or CPEI is required only if not board-certified. 4 units of accredited CPE are preferred.
