Priest and Director of Spiritual Care

Saint John's on the Lake in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is a continuing care retirement community that has a rich history with the Episcopal Diocese of Wisconsin. We are seeking a full time Episcopal Priest and Director of Spiritual Care to join our team as we seek to enrich the lives of older adults through gracious retirement living, spiritual growth, cultural and educational opportunities, and residential health care services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Planning and presiding over Sunday and Wednesday Eucharist, as well as other Episcopal and Interfaith services throughout the year.

Providing for the diverse spiritual needs of our residents, families and staff who come from a wide range of faith and spiritual traditions.

Lead Spiritual Care Team of a chaplain and chapel musician.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, QUALIFICATIONS

Must be an ordained Episcopal clergy person eligible to work in the Episcopal Diocese of Milwaukee.

Must hold a Master of Divinity degree or their equivalent from an accredited educational institution.

Must have 4 units of clinical pastoral education.

Board certification with the Association of Professional Chaplains is preferred. Or the ability to be certified within 2 years will be considered.
