Summary We are seeking a Lead Weekend Residential Instructor to join our team at The Learning Tree, Inc. In this role, you will work directly with children and adolescents in our residential programs, providing support and guidance to help them develop essential life skills.

shall include but is not limited to the following: Providing service to those served by The Learning Tree (including but not limited to implementing behavior reduction procedures, teaching skills, and supports needed in maintaining health) Ensuring daily schedules are followed by Residential Instructors in the home Ensuring community outings are completed in a manner that is meaningful for those living at The Learning Tree Ensuring all residents receive medications in timely manner Ensuring that all training programs are implemented appropriately Ensuring that all behavior procedures are implemented correctly Ensuring resident are engaged in meaningful activities Ensuring that the assigned group home is clean and properly organized Ensuring all required documentation is accurately completed by Residential Instructors (including but not limited to daily logs, injury safety reviews incident reports, data, etc.) Ensuring all data sheets are completed correctly and turned in daily Ensuring staff in home have all necessary materials for implementation of behavior programs Ensuring staff in home have all necessary materials for implementing teaching programs Ensuring that medication administration is reported accurately and all needs for medications to be refilled are reported to nurse's office at least five days prior to expiration of current prescription Reporting of all needed maintenance in timely manner Participation in crisis management procedures, to include, but not limited to: lifting and lowering individuals to and from the floor, standing from kneeling position and dropping to kneeling position while physically controlling an individual, blocking attempted blows and bites, transporting individuals in crisis state, and deflecting blows from thrown objects Other duties determined by CRS to be necessary to ensure the care, welfare, safety, and security of the students Education and/or
Work Experience Requirements :
Minimum of high school diploma with demonstrated knowledge of computer usage to include Microsoft Office Suite.
