We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant who is not only clinically competent but also thrives in a setting where every day brings an opportunity to change lives. Key Responsibilities Provide hands-on care including vitals, medication management, and monitoring chronic conditions. Maintain accurate documentation of client care, vitals, and health records. Oversee urine specimen collection and processing. Administer, document, and manage medications; ensure proper handling of discontinued meds. Communicate health concerns (e.g., unusual vitals, illness, weight changes) to the medical and leadership team. Respond to urgent/emergent situations, providing first aid, wound care, stabilization, and ensuring timely medical attention. Schedule off-site medical appointments and maintain compliance with HIPAA, ADA, and Joint Commission standards. Maintain first aid supplies, safety protocols, and support a safe, structured environment. What We're Looking For Current CCMA or CNA certification with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on patient care experience required. At least 1 year of medication administration experience in a clinical or residential treatment setting required. Experience in residential nursing or behavioral health strongly preferred . EMR experience (KIPU a plus). Thrives in a fast-paced environment with strong time management and organizational skills. Self-starter who takes initiative and can work with minimal supervision. Strong communication, decision-making, and teamwork skills. Compassionate, professional, and reliable presence in all client and team interactions.
