The Residential Assistant will serve as a compassionate guide, ensuring residents' needs are met through effective communication, crisis intervention, and personalized support. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of diverse populations while working in a dynamic and rewarding environment. you will travel once or twice a week to every residence to make sure the client living situation is great . Responsibilities Provide direct supervision and support to residents, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Assist with intake processes, including data collection, documentation, and maintaining resident confidentiality Implement behavioral management techniques to promote positive behavior and conflict resolution among residents Support residents with daily activities, including medication administration, personal hygiene, and household chores Conduct crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary to maintain a calm environment Collaborate with social workers, case managers, and healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans Maintain accurate records through data entry, filing, and documentation of resident progress and incidents Support residents experiencing mental health conditions or substance use disorders with compassion and professionalism Ensure compliance with safety protocols such as manual handling, first aid, CPR certification, and security procedures Engage with culturally diverse communities to foster inclusive support tailored to individual backgrounds Skills Must have First Aid , CPR and Medication Administration Certificate you can ask how to get thous and our team will help to get there .
