Job Summary Under the general supervision of the Clinic Director, this is a front-line position in a residential setting. The Patient Care Associate is expected to maintain appropriate patient traffic flow including but not limited to: greeting and checking in all patients, providing appropriate diagnostic tests as required by staff, and entering data into APT's patient clinical record.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greets APT foundation patients in courteous and helpful manner; Provides appropriate diagnostic tests, including urine screening and breathalyzer, as requested; Enters data into APT Foundation's clinical management system. Follows established guidelines; Follows written and verbal instructions.Required Skill, Ability, Behaviors, Competencies:
Ability to work in a busy environment with frequent interruptions and multiple competing tasks. Willingness to accept ongoing instruction and supervision. Ability to follow established routines and procedures consistently. Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with diverse individuals across cultural, linguistic, and ability differences. Maintains high ethical standards, including disclosure of conflicts of interest. Maintains strict confidentiality at all times. Requires Experience, Certifications, and License(s): Associate's Degree or 2 years post-secondary education; or equivalent combination of training and education. Experience in a mental health/ addiction treatment residential program preferred. MUST have valid CT Driver's License.Location:
